Florida Motorcoach Association Capitol Hill Fly-In

The Florida Motorcoach Association will hold a Capitol Hill Fly-In on Wednesday June 5. This event will include briefings from the American Bus Association’s Government Affairs team and pre-arranged meetings with Legislative officials and/or staff. Below are details of the event in order to schedule meetings with legislative offices, a registration deadline of May 3 will be strictly adhered to.

EVENT DETAILS:
The event is designed to provide FMA members the opportunity to meet their elected federal legislators (U.S. Representatives and Senators). FMA will help members pre-arrange meetings for the Fly-In with their respective legislators. Prior to these meetings, ABA will provide a legislative briefing and materials to assist Fly-In participants with their respective meetings.
Due to the nature of legislative business, please bear in mind, not all legislators will be available to meet at the pre-arranged meeting time and you may, alternatively, meet with his/her staff representative. Staff meetings are as valuable as meeting with the legislator directly, as staff often provide the basis for legislative decision- making.
HOTEL:
FMA has a limited number of hotel rooms at the Hyatt Place Washington, DC US Capitol June 4-6, 2019. The room rate is $249.

The cut-off date to book rooms is May 14, 2019. After that date the group rate is not guaranteed at the hotel.
